Posted @withregram • @neongreece #NEONGrants #OpeningTomorrow :: ΜΕΤΑΜΟΡΦΩΣΕΙΣ | TRANSFORMATIONS :: Curated by @missdialectic 📆 OPENING | Wednesday 25 January | 6pm DURATION 25 January - 4 March 2023 📍 A FOREST @__aforest (Kallidromiou 40, Athens) 📍 DOLCE @dolcepub (Sina 64, Athens) #FreeEntrance miss dialectic presents the interdisciplinary project Transformations; a tribute to contemporary forms of storytelling revolving around tales and their connection with local artistic creation. 38 young professionals, working in the art sector and other contemporary culture fields, were called to create a collective narrative of 30 works. The project comprises a public program of exhibitions and events with art performances, presentations, and readings, taking place sporadically and nomadically. The exhibition program unfolds in successive episodes over 6 weeks in different ‘satellite’ spaces in the center of Athens. The core venue of the public exhibition is the studio @__aforest gradually transforms over the 6 weeks as the works it hosts change weekly. @dolcepub serves as a satellite of the inter-artistic endeavor; hosting works and public events such as book launches and presentations as part of the project. → Exhibitions program at A FOREST launches this Wednesday 25 January, at 6pm and will be on view until January 28, with the presentation of works by Fanis Kafantaris @fanis.kaff, Stefania Strouza @stefaniastrouza and Yannikos Vasiloulis @yannikos → At DOLCE Publishing, from 25 January through 4 March, visitors may see works by Eleni Bagaki @elenibagaki, Panayotis Baras @panagiotis_baras, and Natalia Mavrota @natalie_mavrota.
