SURE KNOW SOMETHING: A KRISTANNA FANFIC
Greetings, everyone. Here’s my latest fanfic. It’s called “Sure Know Something.” It’s loosely inspired by the prompt from a French book mariaisherelove had mentioned in a previous post, that and the KISS song “Sure Know Something”. Here’s the lineup:
Pairing: Anna and Kristoff
Rating: Teen (for making out) Modern AU
Word Count: long but not that long
Anna Eriksson leaned back in her office chair. The images on the computer screen all one big blur. She did enjoy her work here at Arendelle Insurance. It did make her feel lonely though. New in town, she didn’t know anyone yet. She had also gone through a very painful breakup with Hans Westergard, the owner of the last company she worked for. She hadn’t been alone for over two years.
As she sat in her cubicle, she fidgeted with her long strawberry-ginger hair, smoothing out her black pinstripe skirt. Chords for the song “Sure Know Something” by KISS played in the cubicle beside her. Her co-worker, Kristoff Bjorgman, was there. He played his heavy metal/hard rock music daily. He wore his blond hair long and tied back. He had small gauges in his earlobes and he did have a few tattoos. Definitely not what she was used to, but she did admit, he was cute. His Dockers accentuated his tight ass and he was very big and broad shouldered. He did cause her heart to race and her panties to get wet, but he wasn’t her type…or so she thought at first.
Kristoff sat at his desk, scribbling something down. He, too, had gone through a very painful breakup with a girl named Greta Piersen. He wanted to marry her but she turned him down and ran off with a nerdy guy named Olaf Ernst. The smell of jasmine and gardenias wafted to his cubicle. (The new girl, Anna Eriksson) he thought. Sure, he thought she was very pretty, freckles and all, but he thought that she wouldn’t give him the time of day. She looked used to the finer things in life…more than what he could offer.
Two weeks passed. Anna came into the office. Kristoff was already there. He was in her cubicle, a cup of chai latte in his hand. “Good morning, Kristoff,” Anna said, setting her attache down. “What can I do for you?” “Good morning, Anna,” Kristoff said, handing her the cup. ‘This is for you.” “Thanks.” She took a sip. He thought of those soft, pink lips on him, the thought making him very hard. “Hey,” he said, leaning on her desk as she sat down. “I was wondering, since you’re new in town and all, would you like to go out on a date with me sometime?” She smiled. “I’m flattered but I just got over a bad breakup. Sorry.” “That’s okay. How about we be friends first?” “I’d like that.” They shook hands and he went back to his cubicle.
Over the next eight months, their friendship blossomed. They became very close. Kristoff still wanted to date Anna but he wanted to be sure she was ready. Anna finally admitted to herself that she was falling hard for Kristoff but the abuse Hans had put her through prevented her from telling him she loved him. He knew her ex had hurt her badly but he kept that tidbit to himself, afraid to scare her off. One winter night, Kristoff had visited Anna at her luxury condo. She made him a nice dinner of lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and chianti, with tiramisu for dessert. They ate in silence, although something had to be said. He got up and took his plate to the kitchen. She followed. He then went to the door, his leather jacket in hand. “Thanks for the meal,” he said. “I guess I’m going to go home before the blizzard hits.” As he said that, the wind picked up hard and the snow hit the windowpanes hard. “Please stay,” she said, taking his hand in hers. “It’s too dangerous to be out there.” Seeing the concern in her blue eyes, his brown eyes softened and he shut and locked the door. She got out a pillow and blanket. She set these on the leather sofa. “You can have my couch tonight.” “Thanks.” They turned in.
It was now two in the morning. The snow storm still raged on outside. Kristoff got up to go use the bathroom. Once done, he walked past Anna’s room. He heard crying. He gently knocked on the door. “Anna,” he said softly. “Are you okay?” He opened the door. She was bawling into her pillow, the spaghetti straps of her nightgown slipping off her freckled ivory shoulders, her strawberry hair long and beautifully unbound. He ran a hand through his long, thick blond hair and went into her room. He adjusted his emerald green Guinness boxers and sat down. “Anna?” She sat up, her small cleavage heaving as she gasped and sobbed. “You okay?” She slid out of the covers and crawled into his muscled lap. She cried into his broad shoulder, her fingers toying with his hair, which reached well past his shoulders, her fingers then running through his soft, blond chest hair. He held her, stroking her small back and long strawberry-ginger hair, the fragrance of cherries and vanilla filling his nostrils with its sweet scent.
“Kristoff,” she said. “I haven’t been honest with you or myself.” “What do you mean?” “I’ve always loved you! I’ve been scared of it, though. Hans had hurt me so badly, I thought I was done with relationships. You’re so sweet, kind-hearted, and not gonna lie, sexy as hell. Normally, people assumed the heavy metal, tattooed, muscled rocker types weren’t my thing but I like the wild side it evokes. I’ve wanted you for months!” He sat there, stunned by her little confession. He cleared his throat. “Might as well get the elephant out of the room,” he said. “I’ve always loved you, too! I know you were having a hard time getting over Hans. Even if you never loved me back, I’d always be your friend. I’ve never stopped wanting you either. Normally, people would assume preppy redheads weren’t my type but you’re sexy as hell, sweet, loving, and very warm-hearted.” They lookedat each other.
Once the air had been cleared, Anna and Kristoff looked at each other. “Do you want to kiss me,” she asked, tracing the outlines of his lips with her fingertips. “Yes,” he said, caressing the silky skin of her cheek. Their lips met in a passionate kiss. Their tongues touched and caressingly explored the warmth of each other’s mouths as their kiss deepened. They spent the rest of the night making out and reveling in the love that they discovered together. They wanted to make love, but decided to take it slow…after all, they had only just found each other…and intimacy seemed to fit better tonight.
