I shot this photo of my good friend @surfisswell during the recent wave event from hurricane Teddy. One of my favorite people effortlessly ripping at one of my favorite places. He flew in from Cali to get his fair share of New England prime time hurricane swell. This day refilled my stoke. Surfing my own semi secret spot early and then seeing Andrew and getting to shoot photos with his swanky camera. The next time I surf will be in warm, tropical water (in just a few days)! I’m beyond excited to get back to my island life and a steady diet of surf. But truth be told, when I’m in Puerto Rico, I still check the surf cams to see what is happening at my favorite New England spots. I still miss the magic of scoring cold waves and even trudging through the snow to get to them. I know it sounds nuts. I love both though. I can easily see myself moving to this undisclosed location at some point in the future.
