The protest had been going well for the nineteen year old. It was peaceful, there was no trouble,and then another small group join the protest and everything spiriled out of control. The new group pushed a cop and then the tears gas, and batons, guns. Cops and fellow protesters yelling so lound she was terrified her eardrums would burst. Falling to the ground, she screamed out in pain as somone stepped on her arm.
“Get up!” A voice screamed at her and she forced herself ot her feet. An angry looking cop standing before her and he moved forward until he had backed her up against a fence. She tried pleading that she hadn’t done anything wrong - she was in college, training to be a lawyer, that she wouldn’t jepordise that.
