After a kiss on the cheek, the brunette shook her head, chuckling. “Really? And you don’t want to go home and lay down, naked and not thinking about work at all? You’re crazy, girl. But,” She added. “I haven’t seen you in a while so it’s a good time to catch up. Come on, your hair and face are screaming for moisturizing.” Waving to the front of the salon, Audrey walked her friend to her personal chair. “Sit dow, relax, and tell me what you’ve been up to.” 

“Hey don’t diss me for wanting to come see my friend.” Ella rolled her eyes. An afternoon off work was a perfect reason to come visit a friend she felt like she hadn’t seen in forever, her husband lived with her, so she could get naked with him later. For now, she was happy to just spend time with Audrey. Ella’s eyes rolled at the comment about her face needing moisturizing, “Are you trying to say that my face is cracking or something?” The Latina moved and sat in the seat. “I’ve been good, works been busy and Liam is gearing up for the new season or something. What about you?”

Surge: So my sister is forcing me to ask if you need a caterer or know anyone who needs a caterer because jobs are pretty slow right now.

Surge: If you're interested I'll give you her number, but don't expect me to do business for her.

Ella: I assume you meant to send this to someone else? Because I totally already have your sisters number.

Ella: I can check if my firm is doing any conferences that might need catering though?

Audrey was doing some paper work in her office when the receptionist knocked on her door to let her know someone wanted to talk to her. She asked the girl to call the person to the office, setting the sheets aside she waited for the unexpected visit. “Hello!” Audrey greeted with a smile.

“My work had a court case dropped. My boss is making me take the afternoon off. Can I stay with you a bit?” Ella pouted at her friend as she took a seat on the desk in front. “I’ll let you style my hair however you want. Dye is green for all I care, just don’t send me home like my work did.”

Maybe, maybe not. But there’s always a reason to try and let it work out. Not everything has to end in a fight just because. And blaming the government for everything is a lazy argument too. Is it perfect? Of course not, but chaos and marshall law doesn’t work either.

Who says it has to end in a fight? I’m not saying they blame, the government, but, I work in the justice system - I spend my days in court rooms, I see how corrupted the government is on a daily basis. so it is not a lazy argument, it is first hand experience. I watched a child get prosecuted for a mishap with their powers that hurt no one, yet, the government lets non-powered killers walk free - where is the morals in that?

Some people just can’t take a friendly suggestion sometimes. A neutral zone is a neutral zone for a reason, it’s not a ‘neutral zone until I feel like doing whatever I want’ zone. Good thing I have the power of persuasian on my side.

Now now, neutral zone’s will never truly be neutral. You know that, I know that, we all know that. People will fuck up in one way or another, likely because of the shitty government we have, who have done a terrible job and taking care of their people and ensuring everyone was ok in the aftermath of last year.

So apparently my sister’s one year old son started sneezing fireballs today. Pretty sure that’s a sign that nobody should try to baby sit him unless they have a death wish.

“Yup.” She popped the P at the end and shrugged. “My boss is going to press charges. It’s a shame, sweet kid, if she had stuck at it she could have ended up on training courses to actually become a lawyer at some point.” Eyes rolled as he asked about Liam. “Do you really want to know or is that what you think I want you to ask?” she asked him giving him her best lawyer look. “He’s good though, apparently football season is coming up again or something and then there is all this weird terminology I just don’t get.”

Dorothy: I am, promise! In resting when/where possible lol how are things with you and Liam?

Dorothy: Well that's the thing, I'm sure he will be But! I wanted to surprise him. To make it a part of his birthday present because I figured it would take some time to process. Is there a at to get a lot of it done to where all Miles would have to do is sign something? Like that's all he would have to do on his birthday and then we could file it?

Ella: Good I think, I'm not the best judge of these things though, but I am definitely enjoying spending time with him and I was drunk texting him at your bachelorette party. He came home too :smirk:

Ella: Well how is this for a plan - I will type you up a contract, a lot of jargon that it hard to decipher. You tell him it's a contract for life insurance - you know with him being a stunt guy and all and a new family to take care of life insurance is important. Except, he'll be signing a document claiming Sid as his own. I'll submit it to the county office. The receptionist owes me a favour, see if I can get it fast tracked for you. Usually takes a week or two, but maybe they'll get it down quicker?

Dorothy: I'm glad to hear it! I'm okay. Tired and a bit stressed at work but good otherwise as well

Dorothy: You're the best. So I want to make changes to Sidney's birth certificate, changing his last name and adding Miles as his father. I'm just not EXACTLY sure how to go about doing that

Ella: You rest up as much as you can! Your patients need you in perfect condition!

Ella: OMG! That is so exciting! I bet Miles is excited about it all! I can get that sorted for you no problem! What you need is to put in a request with the state office. They'll require either a paternity test result or a signed acknowledgement of paternity letter from the father.
