As some of you may know, I'm undergoing top surgery this month. Thankfully, I was able to cover the surgery costs myself, but I could really use some help getting some important post-op supplies and comfort items for my recovery!
I'm making this post because I'm tired, exhausted, and desperate, and I really don't know how long I can take it anymore.
If you didn't know, I live in the uk, which if you are aware of how bad everything is there, then you'll know what I'm gonna talk about.
Healthcare here is basically non-existent, and I'm struggling to keep going, I've reffered myself to therapy and getting an autism diagnosis and I didn't get any word from the NHS for 4 months.
And yet there's still no word on when I'll receive therapy (which I desperately need) or when ill get a diagnosis.
I've been reffered to a gender clinic but haven't been told if I've been accepted or not and even then I'd still have to wait 5 - 10 years to receieve the care I need (but even then given how this country hates trans people with a passion they'll probably make it worse)
My dysphoria is very extreme, and thankfully, Hrt has helped me a lot with it, but there's still one big problem, which is bottom dysphoria.
Because of how extreme it is, I've attempted to mutilate my own body because of many mental breakdowns from the dysphoria, but I've never followed through (but I have come scaringly close)
I can't take this anymore, and it's affecting me severely, and I'm scared that one day I'm gonna go through with the idea that plagues my mind.
I'm repurposing my kofi so that my goal is to pay for bottom surgery privately, either in the uk or abroad, if I somehow get on the NHS list and I reach the goal then the funds will be used to help me move out the uk because I can't stay here anymore.
I'm considering opening commissions for the first time and seeing how I go, I've been very scared to open them for years, but I think I need to do it now.
I'm gonna be posting works in progress, life updates, and finished work (commissions may be done as a bi monthly thing so as not to overwhelm me)
