Finally getting around to reviewing more products from the @kbeautycollective #BeattheBlues box. My feelings changed about these 2 products as I used them and I grew to enjoy one, and like one less. @surmedic_official Azulene Soothing pH Cleanser - I opened this up during a time where I was trying out a few cleansers and most of them were high pH so I trashed them. This cleanser has a pH of 5.5-6.5 and contains azulene, centella asiatica and 3 types of HA to soothe and lock in moisture without stripping the skin. I didn’t find it as gentle as other pH balanced cleansers I’ve tried as I started using it. While I can’t say it was stripping, it was still foamy and my skin wasn’t as comfortable. I’ve stopped using it since. @tiam_global Snail & Azulene Water Essence - This felt like a really boring essence when I first started using it. It contains 87% snail secretion filtrate, Azulene, betaine, allatoin and panthenol, and is targeted at soothing, repairing and helping skin to retain moisture. I didn’t feel it did much in the beginning when using it as an essence and was annoyed with the scent (which isn’t strong). I’ve since switched to just using it like a toner/ first step essence and it has worked a lot better. It plumps my skin and soothes the stinging I feel, esp in the morning, and serves to prepare my skin for the rest of the routine. While I’ve grown to like it better, this isn’t something I see myself repurchasing because I have products that do more and the scent just irritates me too much.
