Bible verses of the day 3/5/16 1 Peter 4:14-16, 19 KJV 14: If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15: But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 16: Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 17: For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18: And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19: Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. 1 Peter 4:14-19 KJV http://bible.com/1/1pe.4.14-19.KJV May God continue to bless you the readers, hearers and doers of God's Word as well as God's Will. As we see this perfect example of proper behavior that brings God Glory and frowned upon behavior that brings God shame. Christ Jesus died so that we can have Life More Abundantly and we must suffer let it be for The Gospel Truth. Most of us suffer from Disobedience and constantly warring with our Former Childhood Lusts. The Bible warns us to flee from such evils because we will fall victim to those Sins each time; Prepared or Not. The mere desire, memory or taste of Sin is enough to make the Strongest person of Faith weaken. Such Weaknesses can only be overcome by The Power, Presence and Guidance of The Holy Spirit. Which can only be accessed through The Power of God (JAH); Which who no one can come to without knowing, believing in and having Faith in Jesus Christ. Whom All Power, Glory and Dominion is placed His Hands. Choose Christ Jesus today while the blood is running warm in your Veins. Tomorrow nor the rest of this day is promised so Repent and Seek First The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness in Jesus Christ.
