Surrender! My Doula @makteezy told me that giving birth will require me to surrender. As someone who doesn’t give-in or give-up and values the power and freedom of having options to impact life outcomes… surrendering hasn’t been a simple or fearless practice. Yet, I’ve been successful throughout this pregnancy (as I’ve been with love, marriage and roles that require me to give or share my being and power).
