Ok I’ve had some trouble with this shit myself so, for anyone who’s struggling to find somewhere to put your survey and actually get participants:

Here is a list of helpful Survey Tools to get some respondents (for free!)

SurveyCircle - very cool, a few days after you put in your survey they make and send you professional looking pics to promote your survey (example below of mine (which is still open if anyone would like to spend 15 min to help a sis out))

SurveySwap - personally, I find this one the best for getting LOTS of participants really quickly

SurveyTandem - also nice, a little less participants than the others but definitely faster than PollPool

Pollpool - out of these my least favorite, but it will get a few respondents,,, slowly

These are all very easy to use, all you have to do is take other people’s surveys and get points to exchange for participants! All of them except for Pollpool will get you respondents within days!

Fun Facts: Research Surveys Conducted via Text Message Rather than Telephone are More Accurate

Research shows that text-based surveys have a more accurate result than telephone surveys. To be specific, 

respondents are less likely to straightline,

respondents are less likely to satisfice, and

respondents are less likely to fall prey to socially desirable responding

Why?

I think the reason could be that research surveys via text message remain the advantages of text-based communication, which are intransient and asynchronous and more likely to get an accurate result.

Compared to telephone surveys, respondents of text message surveys are less likely to straightline, which means answering questions in a repetitive manner. One probable reason is that text-based surveys are asynchronous and allow respondents to think thoroughly before answering questions while telephone surveys do not.

Also, respondents of text message surveys are less likely to satisfice. With text provided, the questions are clearly stated and respondents can fully understand what the question asked for, which allows respondents to answer questions more accurately instead of rounding off. Additionally, I think when responding questions in text, it would be easier for respondents to answer questions clearly rather than vaguely, because of the characteristics of text-based communication that writers need to arrange their thoughts in an organized way.

I think respondents are less likely trapped by the socially desirable response when taking a text-based survey rather than telephone. When talking to the interviewer, a real person, respondents are less likely to answer very honestly because people always want to look good. But via text message, respondents can be more honest with the survey and do not have to worry about other people’s thoughts.
