FAQ065 How does Great Place To Work® Institute maintain confidentiality and ensure that no manipulation takes place during the paper based survey mode?
This survey is available in a number of regional languages, wherein we send across hard copy questionnaires and envelopes to a central location at the participant organization. The primary coordinator at the participant organization's end is then responsible to ensure the correct distribution and the collection of filled in questionnaires in the sealed envelopes provided with the survey questionnaires. We provide clear survey administration guidelines to the participant organization. We also provide clear communication to the participant employees that GPTW guarantees confidentiality and they cannot be influenced by anyone while responding to the survey. If they have anything to report, they can write in confidence to GPTW. The participant organization needs to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of this process at their end. In our audit process we also scrutinize this process. In case of any wrongdoings, the audit team can disqualify the participant organization from the study. For all paper-pencil cases, we try and send field agents to 1 or 2 locations for survey administration. This helps us to audit the administration and reduce chances of any wrongdoings in survey administration.
FAQ077 What is kiosk mode? Why do you charge for kiosk mode?
The kiosk mode is a mode which can be used in cases where employees are comfortable with English language and are computer literate but do not have access to computer systems or do not have unique email ID’s. In this mode, you need to set up one or more computer systems as kiosks at each location. We send across hard copy letters with the website link and a unique password for each of the sampled employees. Each employee needs to use this unique password and access the survey and give his/her responses. The applicable fees for this mode is INR 25,000 plus taxes which is charged as the survey administration fees.
FAQ063 Can we exclude employees who do not comprehend English?
No, you may not exclude employees on this basis. If any employee does not understand English, we can administer the survey to them through the paper-pencil mode in any of the 11 regional languages we administer the survey in. However, if an employee cannot comprehend any language, they cannot be included in the survey due to process constraints.
Please note that the organization must bring any such exceptions to the notice of the Assessment Manager at Great Place To Work® Institute at the time of uploading the employee details.
FAQ048 What are the various modes of survey administration available for of the Trust Index© survey?
The Trust Index© Survey mode is decided depending on the accessibility of all employees in terms of net connectivity, their computer literacy and their comfort level with the English language. If all these conditions are met then we can conduct an online survey, wherein we send each sampled employee an email with a unique password and the link to the survey.
In case these conditions are not suitable for some employees, we will conduct a paper-pen survey for them. This survey is available in a number of regional languages, wherein we send across hard copy questionnaires and envelopes to a central location. The primary coordinator at your end is then responsible to ensure the correct distribution to the sampled employees and the collection of filled in questionnaires in our self sealed envelopes. The primary coordinator at your end is then responsible to ensure the distribution to the employees chosen to participate in the survey and the collection of filled in questionnaires in our sealed envelopes.
