It wasn't that Kirby was embarrassed to be seen crying since it was all the blonde had done since being discharged from the hospital. When she woke up in the mornings, she cried. Whenever she got into the shower, she cried. Whenever the deep-seated, vicious injury in her abdomen contorted with sharp pains, she cried. And she was exhausted with it. It was an unneeded response, and she much rather lashes out for once, but even the thought of that took whatever energy she had.
