a character I didn’t used to like but now do : hMMM idk i’m pretty firm in my hatred.

a character I’m indifferent about : jeremy ! he was just always kinda there for me. then again, my head was always up caroline’s ass.
a character who deserved better : the better question is, who DOESN’T deserve better ? if i have to pick just one though, it’s definitely bonnie. she’s had the worst treatment for the longest time. tyler is definitely a close second, with caroline coming in at a third.
a ship I’ve never been able to get into : KC. G O D. i’d rather bleed out than explain how awful that dynamic is.
a ship I’ve never been able to get over : caroline and tyler ! ): the vampire diaries was my first fandom experience. and forwood was the first ship that i ever really got into. so as my first ship / the first ship i was ever so invested in my love will literally never die. i’m gonna be eighty years old and still crying about how caroline and tyler are soulmates who deserved so much better.
a cute, low-key ship : not low-key, but give me any combination of caroline, bonnie and elena and i’m down as fuck.
an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it : forwood. i’m destined to ship the most unpopular / widely hated things.

my favourite storyline/moment : anything pertaining to caroline’s vampire transition. i have so many feelings about the way her vampirism influenced the growth of her character. i could fill an entire ocean with tears.
a storyline that never should have been written : no - humanity caroline was one of the biggest mistakes i’ve ever seen on the show. which really isn’t saying much bc that show has A LOT OF ‘EM. but i hated the way it was handled. and i still have a lot of opinions about how ooc the whole scenario was.
my first thoughts on the show : i didn’t even know what the vampire diaries was until i picked up candice as a fc in a group rpg back in the day. i began actively watching it while it was in it’s third season, and honestly my first thought was - when am i ever gonna get over my vampire phase.
my thoughts now : I’M SO GLAD IT’S FINALLY OVER. FIVE LONG YEARS OF MY LIFE. LMFAOOO.
