जस्टिस सूर्यकांत ने शुक्रवार को हिमाचल हाईकोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में शपथ ले ली है। राजभवन में आयोजित समारोह में राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत ने सूर्यकांत को पद एवम गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाई। सूर्यकांत हिमाचल उच्च न्यायालय के 23वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश बने हैं। उन्होंने वर्ष 1984 में महर्षि दयानंद विश्वविद्यालय रोहतक से विधि स्नातक की डिग्री हासिल की।
