ISAT ACT 4 SPOILERS

okay not to continually yap about isat (i'm gonna continually yap about isat) but I cannot get Odile and Siffrin out of my head.

like it's usually isasif (and ship-wise it will always be isasif) but MAN completing the sus quest has me thinking about the two of them constantly. I feel like their dynamic is one that's so under-utilized in media???? like yeah protective people are a thing. cold people (with a secret soft spot) are a thing. but oftentimes I feel like it's only children that they're protective of?? and don't get me wrong, Odile is definitely protective of Bonnie. but to have that worry and care extend to the whole party - including Siffrin?? peak.

she cares so deeply for all of them. she's hard on herself sometimes when she can't help them (there's multiple instances iirc of her saying I should have noticed or I'm not good for that kind of thing that implies that she wants to or feels helpless when she can't). she often relies on the more emotionally open people (Mira and Isa) to handle the emotionally charged moments - but she also pays so much attention and goes out of her way to tell Sif that she's there for him - because she knows that the overwhelming emotion isn't always what they need.

her methods of approaching Siffrin hurt in such good ways. she's always always checking up on him. it's not in big obvious ways. it's not always spoken. but she has one eye on them at all times later in the game because she can tell.

It's so special to me that she's the one who notices. like sure. Mira and Isa occasionally question if Sif is okay or mention that they're acting a little bit different. but they don't really do anything further than that. Odile herself says that if she finds something strange, she "gives it her full attention". she only noticed because of how closely she was watching. she only put it together because of how closely she was watching.

and you can never convince me for a second that it's just because she was suspicious that he had something to do with wish craft - because she never would have picked up on it if she wasn't already paying attention to them because his odd behavior worried her.

and to notice that he was acting odd, she had to know how they acted before. she had to have always been watching. she has been watching for a while because she's grown to love this group and all its members.

she notices because she cares. she notices because she loves them. she loves them she loves them she loves them she loves them.

Odile loves her family. she would do anything for them. she would do anything - "as long as I can be sure you were all safe." anyways. I love Odile.
