Introducing the Cyclones!
Pictures below the cut.
Greetings!
I am starting this blog because I was inspired by the travelling toys found on the Postcrossing Forum, I also find it a good way to procrastinate finishing the things I need to do for my finals. My goal with this is to have a campus wide project to bring a little joy into our lives. My wish is to stay anonymous though some of my friends may already know who I am, if you do know please do not say.
As of now, December 10th, 2016 I don’t know what Susan and Cyrus look like, I’ll be looking for them over break so expect to see more then. I do have a bit of their bios in my mind though.
As you may have guessed Susan and Cyrus were named after Mills College’s founders and mascot. Here are their mini-bios.
Susan and Cyrus Cyclone: Adventurers, pronouns; anything but ‘it’. Despite being named after a married couple they are not married, they are just fellow adventurers.
Susan loves chilly mornings and warm tea along with a good book, library adventures are always a blast. Susan’s motto would be “Slow down and enjoy the breeze on your face.”
Cyrus likes to explore the hidden parts of campus that don’t see a lot of traffic, whether that’s the back of the lake or the bottom of the greek amphitheatre Cyrus loves to get a different perspective of Mills. Cyrus’ favorite quote is “The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” - Eleanor Roosevelt
