Here’s a really catchy song about feeling sad and getting high. Cuco feat. Suscat0 - “Keeping Tabs” #55 #Bestof2019
Hailing from Hawthorne, CA, this guy is releasing some incredible music blending his Mexican American influences with indie pop, hip-hop and some bossa nova even. I can’t remember the first song I heard from him. I remember it had a great sound but with lyrics that were in Spanglish which turned me off. It’s a hangup of mine. But he won me over with song after song that hit just the right blend of rhythm, nostalgia and cool lyrics. It made me not care about the occasional Spanglish. Pet peeve conquered.
