These fresh and tasty sushi rolls are packed full of flavor. It's great as an appetizer or light meal.
Ingredients: 2 cups sushi rice. 4 nori seaweed sheets. 1 cucumber, julienned. 1 avocado, sliced. 1/2 pound fresh sushi-grade salmon, thinly sliced. 1/2 pound fresh sushi-grade tuna, thinly sliced. Soy sauce for dipping. Wasabi paste for serving. Pickled ginger for serving.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to cook the sushi rice, then let it cool. Spread out a layer of sushi rice over the nori sheet, leaving a 1-inch border at the top. Place the nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat. Fish, avocado, salmon, and tuna should be put in the middle of the rice. Roll the sushi up tightly on the bamboo mat, and use a little water to seal the edge. With a sharp knife, cut the sushi roll into small pieces that are easy to eat. Throw in some pickled ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi paste to go with it.
