warren can’t help but sigh as the words roll off eddie’s lips like it’s nothing, like he isn’t saying something that would piss everyone in the band off — especially warren. these days it seemed like he was the only one who wasn’t involved in some personal turmoil, like he was the only one who was occupied totally by the love of the game.
“dude, do you hear yourself?” warren asks through a scoff of disbelief, eyebrows furrowing together as he looks right at eddie. “you wanna go back to the way it was? playing shitty weddings and christenings? making thirty bucks to split four ways?” he laughs softly, throwing his arms up slightly. “i don’t know what to tell you man. we live in laurel canyon. our album is climbing higher and higher up the charts, and you want it to go back to how it was?”
