Win win win!!
I love contests! I am such an addict it gets crazy sometimes. I did win a car once when I was 15 so I do feel justified in my contest addiction!
As the title implies today is Überfood's first giveaway! Yay!
Two lucky winners will each receive a Keep Cup of their choice AND a 5€ voucher to Coffeeshop Company!
Why are Keep Cups great? The materials they are made out of are recyclable which means that you are not harming the environment using your Keep Cup. The Keep Cups themselves keep disposable cups and their plastic lids out of landfills.
Did you know that every minute one million disposable cups are sent to the landfill? And that most disposable cups are lined with a plastic and are thus non recyclable? This is even if the cup is paper on the outside. The plastic lids from 32 disposable cups make up one Keep Cup (statistics from the keep cup website).
But let's talk about practicality. It is practical to never need a mug wherever you go. I loved using my Keep Cup on the flights to NY and Berlin. I always have tea with me and I would just ask on the plane or in any coffeeshop to have my cup filled with hot water. Since there is no cleanup for the staff- it is always free!
It is also nice to take my tea or coffee made at home on the go!
Now why Coffeeshop Company? Their coffee is not organic and that sucks. However, they offer agave syrup as a sweetener and use it in a lot of their specialty drinks. My favorite drink there is the iced tea. You actually get a cup with ice cubes and agave- and then another cup with hot water and tea on the side.. you then make it yourself! It's pretty fun and delicious!
So, if I have convinced you that this is a fun giveaway, go to Überfood's FB page and leave a comment saying which color you want if you win. That's it!

Both are pictured but it is a bit unclear in the picture that the cup with the purple lid is more green than blue. :)
Good luck!!
Mariana
p.s. a big thank you to Keep Cup for giving me two extra cups to give away! You guys rock!
Hey guys, this is a great idea to support less emissions from transportation. My home town has recently adopted this campaign, and there are several other Ontario cities where this program runs.
From what I've read and heard. basically, you become a member and pay a set monthly fee, and when you need a car, you sign up for it in advance, and use the car finding map to find the closest car that you can pick up! I think it's perfect for someone who lives in the city!
