how did you meet maud?

(S) At the wedding. Duncan barely paid any attention to me, but Maud immediately started conversation and I was completely taken by her.

She was young and beautiful with a vibrant personality and a husband who was busy chatting up Macbeth... And there was something else about her too, something mysterious that drew me near. I later found out she was a witch, of course. She’s so talented.

We spent a lot of time together in those early years...

Dear Siward,

I have enclosed a number of letters containing questions about Jarl Ake from back home.

As I was reviewing said letters, it came to my attention that the nature of Father’s death may not be as we had assumed. I’m sorry to have to tell you this...

My thought is that we try writing to someone back home to get answers. Perhaps to Calder Akesson (he’s be jarl now, I think?) or to Brida...

I pray to the Gods my conclusions are wrong.

i don’t mean to be rude, but how did you manage to have a child with maud? is that even possible?

(S) Maud has always been a woman in mind and spirit... but not always in body.

It took her years of work and studying to finally find the right spell to have her outward self reflect her inward self, but we... enjoyed each other plenty before then.

I feel it’s not my place to explain any further.

(S) Oh! Well, since you asked...

Wed my darling Maud! Wish we would have had the opportunity when we were younger, but thanks to my precious son, others now have the chance to be with the ones they love

and bed her as well, of course, not that we haven’t already before ;) ;)

Behead Edward. That... that murderer and snake. How he has survived this long is quite beyond my comprehension. Hopefully not for much longer though

hey suthen! did you and siward always live in england? if not, where did you grow up? did you have friends there? what about your father?

(S) Oh, no, we’re from Norway. I liked it a lot better than England, but we didn’t have much of a choice when we moved.

Freydis was my best friend back home. I bet she goes raiding now. Father always thought I would do well raiding. Heh, look where I ended up compared to that... There was also Aspen. He was constantly trying to get me to marry him, and I don’t know... He was nice.

Father was a strong man, and he took good care of me and Siward. He and Aspen... Well, Father died on that raid, and no one’s really sure what happened to Aspen.
