Sketches based on the "Shadow Lord" I just watched. I like Maul's new brothers (and the fact that they see him as a brother, not just a superior). I wouldn't be surprised if he recruited them from the same settlement Savage came from. And now I have some questions about his prosthetics. It's clear they're attached to his spine and the nerves running through it, but I was surprised to learn they have pain sensitivity. I wonder if they also have temperature and tactile sensitivity?

Soooo who was gonna tell me Scorn is 6'7"?? I seriously wanna know how tall Nightbrothers get now cuz wtf. Do y'all think Talzin magically altered the Nightbrothers she sent to help Maul like she did with Savage or do you think they're all organically badass? Not to ramble but omg there's so much I wanna know about them. Are any of the Nightbrothers force-sensitive? Do any of them know magic? What is their relationship with Maul? Do you think they ever told him stories about Dathomir or his brothers? DID THEY TELL MAUL HE HAD A LITTLE BROTHER?? I NEEEEEED season 2 of Shadow Lord to give me more on my precious boys. I mean Maul LITERALLY taught Icarus how to wield a lightsaber so how deep does their bond/trust go? Icarus and Scorn are the only ones Maul trusted to have by his side when his leg was being repaired. Does he retain some level of pack instinct that makes him and them closer? Do they simply view him as their lord or is he their brother too? Are we gonna get flashback sequences referring to Talzin or Son of Dathomir?? Is my precious child Savage gonna be mentioned again??? FILONI AND WITWER I NEED ANSWERS!!!

I was rewatching Maul: Shadow Lord and noticed something. Icarus and Scorn are with Maul for some time. They are not new recruited members. The whole galaxy knows him as dead after losing Mandalore. When Vario sees Scorn he says:

So it means he knows Scorn and Icarus during/before the Mandalore. It's annoying that they wasted such characters as placeholders.

a/n: sorry it took a little long. it's also shorter. it's my first time writing for savage, icarus and scorn, but hopefully it meets your expectations! i fear i might have gotten the concept a little wrong but honestly i kinda like the way it turned out lol, i hope you like it too <3

warnings: obsession, jealousy.

maul:

• completely and utterly obsessed.

• it's unhealthy.

• follows you around like a predator. not to you, obviously, but to anyone who dares to speak to you without the deserved respect.

• has killed for you.

• will do it again.

• has ordered others to kill for you, too.

• and don't they dare deny.

• even if you don't know it, you belong to him. you have been his since the day he laid his eyes on you for the first time.

• and you are his most prized possession.

• dreams of you. sees you in visions. the image of you keeps popping up in his mind during meditations.

• he adores the distraction just because it's you.

savage:

• wasn't born to be a monster. but if the circumstances demand him act in such a way…

• but he's always extremely sweet to you.

• puts you on a pedestal.

• thinks twice before saying anything to you, very mindful of his words so they don't hurt you.

• bad at social clues. very. so he struggles a little to read the room.

• but once he gets a grip on the situation, he won't hold back if he sees anyone trying to hurt you.

• or worse, to steal you from him.

• it gets bad.

• you have to calm him down sometimes, explain that maybe these weren't even that person's intentions.

• it doesn't matter to him, they were way too close.

• and it's too late anyways.

icarus:

• seems unbothered on the outside, but is biting his tongue to try to stop himself from jumping in anytime someone flirts with you.

• jealous. so jealous.

• not very communicative, so you better guess what's up with him this time.

• likes to take you out and stays glued to your side all night.

• so many death stares at the people who keep looking at you.

• especially because you're just so stunning tonight.

• and he needs everyone to know you're with him.

• rarely gets physical though, he's more of a silent threat.

• but if they're still bothering you, then there's no hesitation.

• he simply avoids being so extreme because he doesn't want to scare you or make you think he's someone else.

• but you don't. you know you have a man who has your back, even though it's not in the most usual way.

scorn:

• dramatic and protective.

• never chill about anything when it comes to you.

• loves the feeling of doing stuff for you, of being the one you come to when necessary.

• if there's someone crossing a line, he's the one you call for help.

• and he doesn't waste a second, always prompt to do something good for you.

• he will never act before talking to you. he constantly makes sure of how you're feeling, if it's all under control, if you're feeling safe.

• if the answer is no, that's when his mood changes.

• then, all he wants is to beat the shit out of these assholes, because they really could use his lesson.

• they did, though, since they stopped bothering you or anyone else completely.

• it fills him with pride to be responsible for that.

• you make him feel strong and he can't help but enjoy it.

maul:

• he's too protective for his own good. can never stand when people pick fights with you. he takes it very personally.

• takes his time on getting his revenge for you. he's the type to enjoy making them feel threatened, like they are being watched, followed and in danger for as long as he wants to before finally acting physically.

• his sense of ownership grows stronger when he fights for you, a mean of letting everyone know that if they get in your way, they will deal with him.

• maul is, somehow, classy. unfair, but clean. he doesn't like when they bleed too much, often granting them a fast lesson, or, if needed, death.

scorn:

• unlike his brothers, he is much more impatient. gets angry easily and takes it out quickly. more messy, too. and he likes it this way.

• doesn't need you to say anything twice. you let him know who is on your tail, he will find them, and have fun with it.

• not a talker, his fists speak for him. depending on how serious things get, he doesn't mind getting a little hurt if it means he gets to really fight them.

• always very proud of his work, bragging about it to you and his brothers. you can't help but find it weirdly endearing that this is his way of showing how much he cares about you.

icarus:

• similarly to maul, he takes his time to plan his actions. he would actually take advice from when it comes to acting on his own.

• he is quite observant, always paying attention to your interactions so he knows who you're dealing with. he likes that you keep him updated.

• quiet, stealthy threats. a knife to their throat so they know they're done for, but not so fast so they can piece together his reasons.

• has you watch. has you lead. "what to do with them?" he would ask, and he would follow your orders. unless you prefer not to be present, then his mercy, that is already little, won't show.
