Aeric used to be a part of Thalen Rook's crew, as Arcturus's assistant. However, Aeric made barely any money working there (Thalen's crew is constantly poor because upkeeping the Sentinel is incredibly expensive).
Thalen's crew was attending a large memorial event for a great hero from the Convergence War when Aeric met MOPAR there. At the event there were a few legendary Corgeforge's parked there and Aeric was pining about how he needed to get his Stryker restored and wished he knew a Forged. MO introduced himself and befriended Aeric, giving him guidance on his Stryker restoration. MO liked Aeric's work and introduced him to Star Works and Aldros, where Aeric eventually got a job at.
