this castle gives me Ronja, the robber's daughter vibes.
in fact, the castle was created by a book.
Wilhelm Hauf published the novel "Lichtenstein" in 1828 which Count Wilhelm von Württemberg (later: von Urach) liked so much that he bought the estates around Lichtenstein from his cousin the King of Württemberg and had the castle built with the model from the book. To this day, the castle is owned by the Urach family. The castle is located in the district of Reutlingen on the Swabian Alb, above the village of Lichtenstein. Not only the castle but also the surroundings are very beautiful and have a lot to offer such as the fog caves, forests, mountains... It surprises me again and again what beautiful places are near me.
