The intro to the unnamed fic so far:
She had felt eyes on her most of the past week, but dutifully ignored the feeling, and ignored the instinct to turn and find the source. Father was most likely behind it, making sure she was playing the game like a good girl. That or she was trying to scope out if the bastard girl was were the red wolf went off to. She shivered at the thought, having no hand in the death of that crazy witch’s son – though when she used a hand mirror to glance at the scars on her back, she wished she had grabbed him by the neck and squeezed hard. Flipping her dark brunette hair over her shoulder, she ducked into the alleyway that cut her walk back to the manor by a good two city blocks.
But a hand gripped her arm and she turned quickly, losing her balance slightly and getting one of her new heels jammed into one of yesterday’s leftover rain puddles.
“HEY!” She hollered, going to slap the man and try to free herself, only to stop short.
The man had all too familiar eyes, the same blue eyes that greeted her every time she glanced at the mirror, the same blue eyes her brothers had until they shut them forever, the same blue eyes her mother had before she’d had her neck sliced open… “Get in the car, now!” An all too familiar voice hit her eardrums and brought tears to her eyes. It was the voice of the man who never failed to call her mother on Sundays, and the man who never failed to send a package in time for a family birthday.
“Uncle Brynden?” She somehow managed to gasp out, letting her school bag slide off her shoulder.
Seriously considering writing a modern au fic where Sansa gets picked up (from Petyr’s cause ew but it being pretty parallel to asoiaf) by Brynden Tully and taken to the Neck where there’s staunch Stark loyalists. The Reed kids already brought Bran and Rickon to the Neck, and Brynden is claiming the three of them are his bastards though the Crannogmen know exactly who they are and Sansa ends up falling for one of them. I’m planning for Sansa to hear that Sandor’s motorcycle was found in the Riverlands all beat up, and finding the newspaper article and thinking he’s dead too. But it’ll probably end up a side Meera/Sandor fic when Sandor gets wind of Brynden Tully’s “bastards” and goes to investigate, bringing word of Arya with him when he shows up.
When you got a fic idea but little to no time to work on it.

Interesting things I saw today:
- An alligator chilling by the ponds by the Catholic church in Southport. - Where someone spray painted “Free Palestine” on the sign of a barely-started new development that seems to be for sale.
tinderbox and tiger
Tinderbox - What do you cherish most?
I’m not too sure; what I know, I’d guess? Knowledge is really important to me.
Tiger - What is your bravest moment?
When I get up in the morning.
