Alright so, this take probably almost no one knows the actual lore for it, and it was so forgotten that a peep or two reused my old designs for their own shit, and ended up making people believe the designs were theirs lol
But anyways, i think i was cooking with this one
The idea behind this very under developed swaphorror take was that, after the neutral run in underswap went on, the nucleus (core) began to also run out of power, leading to Undyne having to spend a huge chunk of her time trying to find a way to fix things, until for a moment, she would have the idea of using the soul of a monster to help fuel the core, as if a human soul managed to power up the core for so long, perhaps a monster one would be able to keep it working for enough time for her to fix the thing up. With that, she would work on fusing napstaton with the nucleus, to which she would manage to, and actually get better results than she expected, as now Napstaton was able to live and control the core, and practically fix the thing up himself in a matter of minutes, which was a miracle.
Or, so she thought, as by the moment his mind got fused with the innards of the nucleus, something changed on him, as from that on, he would decide to go and change the underground for the better. Which by that he meant, molding the monster world into his own vision, soon forcing most of the monsters into an utopia he managed to create himself, to hide them away from the horrors that they could have possibly gone through if he let them on their own.
Resume: Napsta creates an utopia from the monsters, keeping them away from the shit going around on the underground so they can think that everything is right, and even brainwashing them into believing everything is right
I don't have much info on the characters themselves aside from papyrus and sans so
Papyrus: He decided to isolate himself from the society that Napstaton was constructing after discovering the stuff that napsta was hiding under the image of good guy he was trying to pass as, such discovering leading to a half brain washed Alphys attacking him, and slashing him up across the face with her claws, leaving huge permanent cracks across his head. I also remember that due to the fact of being so hugely lonely, having even lost contact to sans after a while in his isolation in the forests, he suffers from severe case of "voices in his head", to the point where he actually believes there's people around him talking to him sometimes, and learned to live with that after a while.
Sans: Stayed in the society Napsta created in optimism for a brighter future, but ended up getting brainwashed by him during some point of the "utopia", now following the mindset of being some kind of protector of the now revamped snowdin (tho snowdin would be different, it would be based around the Swampland concept made by Flambeworm370). He has an exaggerated version of the og underswap sans personality, and is also addicted to a thing called "Napsta Mega-Mix"(which is actually why he has blue shit over his mouth and hands), that being some kind of food napsta created in order to replace the magical food, made mostly of chemicals and actual monster dust (yes, actual cannibalism this time)
Oh yeah, forgot, there's a concept for Undyne as well where she got all of her knownledge sucked out from her brain by Napsta inside the chambers of the Nucleus, so she has basically the intelect of an infant now lol
And, uh, that's it i guess, i don't have much else thought on about this version, always thought it had potential, but sadly never got to use it for good
