Goodbye & Good Luck Foursquare
I am a Superuser 2 and was an avid Foursquare user. I had a huge passion for editing and helping out the Bali venues. I went far and wide that I even called up the venues to correct information. I used the app to check-in so that my friends know where I am. I also loved that I had the ability to search up different venues, which also helped me discover places I've never visited before. The badges and points encouraged me to use the app even more, it was fun! I also loved for the fact that you could compete against the person who visited a venue the most and claim mayorship for yourself. It made me visit many different venues and became a frequent customer of that venue. I was happy that 4SQ had the ability to check in and discover all in one app. Every time I visit a venue, I always ask the staff for accurate info and even ask for a business card. This change and total ignorance from the 4SQ management is preposterous. I feel used and kicked in the mouth that 4SQ will not listen to a single feedback from anyone. I will no longer look at Foursquare the same way again. foursquare

Swarm, will it alienate Foursquare's user base?
The app had it’s official release on May 15th 2014, has had a lot of controversy within social media platforms such as their Facebook Page, will Swarm become a big hit once they finalize the split? Foursquare developers however, think it will as they continue to post on their official blog that users are enjoying the new app.
Swarm launched a few weeks ago, and we’re so excited about the…

the swarm app has made it clear that i've friended and accepted friend requests from some truly boring people haha.
@dglspl
Pretty much what I think too about the new Swarm and how Foursquare is making a big mistake splitting the app in two when they could include all in one.
