LISTEN. He doesn’t care about the Avengers, it’s known the avengers and x-men/mutants never got along. But Captain America having saved Erik from the camps? placed him in a safe place where he could grow up away from that damage he was put through? Steve might be the only enhanced human/avenger he respects and actually could have a civil conversation with. Because he saved him, because Erik was a child and this man came and never saw him as anything but a child and kept him safe.

    “wanda, seriously, just get your ass in the water.” he smirked looking up at her. “I promise, it’s warm.” ish. he splashes her from where he is. “c’mon, you wanted to swim, don’t pussy out on me now.” it was well passed midnight. he thought a skinny dip would be a fun idea. and so far, the view was pretty great, but he wanted to get his hands on her.

     “I’m alright.” He senses her before he sees her, his arm (now his only arm) resting against the windowsill, staring out at the quiet street. He didn’t know where they were, preferred not to ask, knowing that it was better to be unaware, just in case. He wasn’t even close to stable, knowing that, despite all the attempts he’d made to fix himself, it wasn’t working. There had been options; T’Challa had offered to let him go to Wakanda, to be frozen again until they could figure out something. The advanced technologies of the hidden nation might have something under their sleeves, but he had let himself be convinced by Steve and by Wanda, to try a different approach. 

      Which was working. He had to admit that he was, slowly, making progress with Wanda. It was just them now, something that made sense, in case something did happen. She might be able to restrain him, her powers strong enough to withstand his physical strength, his years of training. He could guess that his silence, his stillness, was a bit unnerving; how long had he been standing there, silently watching the few cars pass by, hidden by the curtain to the outside world? He could only guess, his mind pre-occupied with thoughts that wouldn’t cease to cycle. “I’m sure you can sense that much.” He adds, a slight, cheeky smile on his face, certainly reminiscent more to Bucky Barnes, as opposed to the man he had been trained to become. “Or am I wrong?”

character in general: I LOVE WANDA MAXIMOFF SO MUCH. I just really do. She’s strong and beautiful and courageous. how they play them: I have known and loved Kara’s Wanda for SO LONG y’all! the mun: Kara has always been a FREAKING DELIGHT to know and talk to. I’ve known her for at least a year or two at this point and she’s always be wonderful.

He care nothing for the Avengers.  A battle for the world is not his fight unless it involves mutants. But the request for aid does not come unnoticed when he lay eyes on the young woman. He had known of her for quite some time, Pietro as well.  HE CHOSE TO STAY AWAY. It was better that way he figured.

 He is not a man of family, as his family had been lost twice just as a consequence of him being wanted. His dear mama and father, both dead in a senseless war just to test his powers as a lab rat. Nina and his wife, dead because the world thought him evil and then, he must be so. It was a conscious decision, to stay away. But now he is brought back to the front line. His daughter’s eyes staring back at his own. “How long have had you had your powers?” He ask, gentle curiosity in the mutant’s tone, blue eyes never leaving her own. 

And quickly, another question forms on his mind, as he lets a metal coin drift casually through his fingers, to ease his troubled mind. “Why them? Why fight with The Avengers?”
