Hej! I have a question about word order in Swedish. So, my Memrise app gave me the sentence, "Det känner jag inte igen," and translated it as, "I don't recognize that." I think this is inverted word order. Would it sound weird to a native speaker if someone said this same thing in normal word order? For example, "Jag känner inte igen det." To me, this order seems more straightforward (but maybe that's just because I'm a native English speaker...).
That is a great question! And I have no idea!! So I’m posting it in hope that someone will answer your question which is now my question too!
swedish ppl pls help ❤

does anyone know any good language programmes (similar to duolingo or buusu) that teach swedish??
Swedish people/Swedish language speakers: what does the word brä mean? I am singing a Swedish folk song that is mostly in English, but this word is in it in the phrase, "I mourn for fjord and brä." ??
