Like father like son(s)
Father. Stellan Skarsgård. Best known for his roles in the Pirates of the Caribbean (2006 & 2007), Good Will Hunting (1997), Mamma Mia! (2008), The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011), The Hunt for Red October (1990) as well as for his extensive collaboration with Danish director Lars Von Trier. Stellan has had roles in 6 Von Trier films including Breaking the Waves, Dogville, Melancholia and Nymph()maniac. In 2011, Skarsgård also appeared in Lykke Li’s music video Sadness is a blessing.
Son. Alexander Skarsgård. Whether you know him as Eric in True Blood or from 2012 American drama What Maisie Knew where he plays the role of the quiet and caring boyfriend or from Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi music video (2009), one thing is for sure: this Swediman doesn’t go unnoticed! Fans worldwide, brace yourselves. Alexander has a new role on the big screen, he is Tarzan! (are you Jane by any chance??). The film is currently in post-production.
