Hey guys. How's it going? So I visited Stockholm 🇸🇪✈️ last month for a business trip and of course I just had to get my hands on a Mackmyra 😄 So I visited the local Systembolaget and luckily enough they had this Mackmyra Äppelblom special edition available 😍. For those who don't know, äppelblom means apple blossom in Swedish, so you can imagine the apples on this one 😂. Alright, so let's get to the review: . Nose: Orchard fruits, apple and pear with a hint of citrus. Sweet vanilla, toasted oak and toffee, also quite floral. Dark chocolate, cloves, walnut oil and marzipan. A lingering liquorice taste. . Palate: Spicy and fruity, with apples and pears combined with citrus. Pepper, ginger and woody. Vanilla, walnuts, nutmeg and again floral. Licorice again at the end. . Finish: Short to medium, fruity, oaky with lemon zest, a bit bitter, the apples are still there. Slightly floral with coffee and vanilla. .
