Unfortunately, I don’t. I keep having things come up over the weekends, and that’s pretty much the only time I can do it. It’s likely though that early in April I might have a week of down time, and I might try to knock out as much as I can then. So if you don’t hear from me reference Madoka before then, it’s highly likely it will take up a lot of time early April. 

Sorry to be so inconsistent in this regard. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm loving your RDR2 gifs so much. I only picked it up relatively recently and I'm at the first part of the epilogue and I'm just. Ugh. It's so wonderful. I just keep running around and hunting because I don't want it to end :'(

3 things - Arisugawa Juri

Ah hahaha. Okay this one is gonna be weird because when I first got into Utena in like, maybe my Sophomore year of high school? I heavily identified with Juri. I had a very small group of friend, only one who was my age, most who were going to be graduating at the end of the year, and I was in prime ‘what’s going on with my sexuality’ phase in a small town that runs very red. Even my headed toward girlfriend (online) who I spent stupid amount of hours talking and role playing X-Men with was like ‘You are Juri.’ 

Looking back I AM NOT JURI. Ahahhaa. So I’m going to start with our differences and because I am me, for the sake of everyone’s dash, it’s going under the cut: 

1. I am not cold or self hating, which I don’t think is even fanon. I know RGU can kind of be tough because it often doesn’t state things outright, but do those things even need to be stated outright? And like, i use cold loosely. That’s how she tries to present herself. She’s actually very compassionate to those she cares about, but doesn’t want people to realize it, so does it in a ‘cool’ manner, and she can Definitely be legit cold to people she doesn’t like…. which I’m not so good at unless like, you’re being mean to my friend and I get ‘protective mode’ activated. I am very much a Midwestern product. 

2. I am not interested in miracles. Like, that isn’t to say I have any problem with them. It’s just… not a topic I’m interested in? I don’t think of things in those terms? I guess? If a miracle happens to you that’s great! But bitch I am not sitting around and waiting for life to happen to me. I told my ex straight up that my feelings had grown romantic. Now I might not always be the most direct about it in other ways, when things seem less likely to happen, but I often don’t do ‘nothing.’ Sometimes wonderful things happen and perhaps I should look at those things more as miracles, but sometimes, you just gotta go make life go your way. 

3. Editing: Changing this to one I forgot I thought of. I think it’s likely we’re both associated with the color Orange now! And I suspect Juri also likes orange so we both like orange! XD Juri might be part of the reason I got associated with orange but mmfr helped with that toooo! (Edit Edit: I messed up and put this in the differences section but now I’m just embarresed and going to hope no one notices and not try to write this one out all over again haha woops) 

Common stuff! 

1. We both like the ladies! I might not be the lesbian she definitely is! (everyone knows by now I feel very strongly that Juri is SUPER lesbian right? =P) But I definitely was able to relate to her young adulthood pining after a same sex crush she didn’t feel like she was supposed to have. 

2. I think we’re probably both rather literal minded. I think part of that is how she gets hung up on all the miracle stuff. How can miracles work ‘practically,’ and if the conclusion is that they can’t, then they must not be real. Which, that’s not exactly the logic I follow, but still! 

2. This one is kind of cheating, because who wouldn’t share this, but we both have an interest in weapons training! Juri is much better at this, but when I did marital arts through college, I was quite interested in our sessions with the bokken but also especially the jo (neither of which is fencing i know but STILL) I still miss that and wish place closer to me that does that sort of martial art shared a few more principals that kept me interested in it at all. It happens 

Look, I know this is impossible to believe, but I really cut stuff out to keep these answers shorter. What character is wordy as fuck and can’t shut up? Because apparently there is a similarity that already exists! XD

His mind returned to his old backyard in the summer. The two of them spent a lot of time dancing, to practically any kind of music they could find on the radio, sometimes making up moves that didn’t necessarily go with the genre of music. They often ended breathless from laughter, lying in the grass, before cooling down with lemonade or heading inside to eat. Letting the melodies guide the movements with little thinking of the next step… Maybe that was freedom for him. From what he could remember of those moments, it definitely felt liberating, a good way to release stress and improve his mood.

She could have given it to Annie to deliver with the rest of the mail, but wasn’t sure exactly how efficient of a delivery method a bicycle really was. And besides, she somehow managed to convince herself, this kind of letter needed to be delivered by hand. By her. She slipped the letter back into her satchel as she felt the clock turn to that important time. This time, the train pulled in and opened its doors without a whistle, as if it knew about her secrecy of leaving the Cabinet. Sure, she had left a note, but it was hard to tell with all the activity that was always happening how long exactly it would take anyone to find it.

Marie took the towel from her to dry the mug before putting it back in the cupboard. “So, uhh, what was up with the zoning out just then?”

Liz waved her off, “It was just something that happened during my walk home… I’ll tell you about it later. Did you get started on math yet?”

“A little bit…” Marie trailed off, heading into the dining room where they frequently worked on assignments together. Liz knew by her tone that “A little bit” really meant “I opened my textbook and started the first question, but then Mike texted, so…”, but she knew at this point any kind of scolding would be fruitless. Hardly anything could keep Marie from talking to her boyfriend, especially not any kind of homework assignment.

That night, Liz dreamt of her walk home. Well, kind of. She was standing there, on the path. It wasn’t raining, but it was dark as if the clouds were still heavily hanging over the town. Then the music started, the singular flute: it faded in and out, sometimes sounding like it was right next to her or at least nearby; but other times sounding like it was down the street, like when you can hear someone’s house party but can’t exactly pinpoint what house it was happening at. And then, amongst the trees, she saw him. A blurry, faceless figure, a good dozen feet away from her. She began hoping that he was faceless because he was far away, and that he wouldn’t move closer for her to find out if that was the truth or not. It seemed like he noticed her. The music stopped the moment she felt they locked eyes.
