Six mallard ducklings near Barbican lake, London.

These little sweeties came up to investigate when I was having lunch at school, sitting out on the fake grass with my packed lunch. I offered them some lettuce but they weren’t very interested.

The Barbican lake is a man-made but relatively safe (aside from screaming school children) and thus well populated with ducks. I recommend pairing a visit with a look at the library or art galleries in the Barbican centre
