Walk with me for a moment.
You've had a long week at work, and ring in the weekend by finally getting to Ana's final chapter and epilogue for Greedy. You stop for a strawberry milkshake on the way home like the anons did to fit the theme, and sit down for the glorious end you have long awaited to read.
Then you get to through the first hundred words, and are introduced to angry Namjoon missing his wife's home cooked meal. And the characterization that follows is so well written that you need to know more. And you realize-
You've never read the other books in the series, and absolutely cannot continue the chapter until you know everything there is to know about this Namjoon.
And then you start reading Joon's fic, and have to go back AGAIN in the timeline because Guarded Hoseok calls to you and you haven't yet read his fic either.
Thank you Ana, for setting up an intro scene where the supporting characters are so well written that I was forced to set aside the final chapter before the smut happens to read the other two books dedicated to the series.
Will get a new milkshake tomorrow when I finally get to the last chapter 😭
what a great message to wake up to! i have so many questions: how was that milkshake (trick question i have literally never had a bad milkshake) but i’m dying to know if you went back and read the first two stories?
