Dramas I Watched in 2025

(dramas with gifs are excellent/great and actually worth watching in my opinion. The others are not, watch at your own risk)

First Love-Cute. A little long winded at points

Blossom-loved them in ways I cannot explained one of the best cdramas. I even ignored the annoying ass monk character b/c I loved the leads so much.

The Olive Tree-sad as hell. No ups. She chased him like a puppy and he was always kind of mentally doomed that it made her mentally doomed too.

The blossoming Love-2nd ML ruined this from being great.

Lost Romance- you can watch this.. I have no definite feelings.

Love the Way You Are-Pretty Noona cdrama version and the better version imo. Dad took place of the mom and he wasn't as pyschopathic. However I don't like that they made them step siblings. HOWEVEVER from my knowledge they were NOT raised together so its not (as) disgusting.

Embrace the Dark Night-ridiculous mini but fun

Prince of Wolf- Pissed me off.

Use me For my Talent-I'm starting to think he makes boring dramas. This was a Clean With a Passion for Now remake and just no.

The Best Thing-WONDERFUL. Idk if it was just me but Linghe gave sinister vibes even though he was perfectly wholesome. Might be because the last show I watch of his was kunning before this. Regardless this is SO great.

Perfect Match-All the men SUCKED. Like you wouldn't want any of them LOL buttttt some of the romances were good regardless. My fav was the sister with the judge.

City of Romance-felt a bit dated but not a bad time passer

Youthful Glory-enjoyed a lot! I liked that even though the name is very typical lol, the leads lived up to the title of the show. They really do feel like teenagers/EARLY 20's. Especially the FL, because she's not THAT smart or clever as most fls are nowadays and the Ml is super smart (typical) however he's not secure in how to handle the fl at all and fails many times at it. He's also despite being FIONE, not considered the hottest and most popular

Prisoner of Beauty- A GEM of a drama. THE LEADS WERE WONDERFUL really grew well. Well written, well acted, leads were CHEMISTRYING. MATURE. Everything. (only episode I felt eh about was the last one. But it still was good.

Love of Devine Tree-good until it wasn't. Neither pass or fail. Just is

Coroner's Diary-He was SPRUNG from the beginning. I like that in a man. And she didn't fight it like a lot of FLs do. He was so open about it it felt risky.

Legend of the Female General-She was forced to pretend to be her brother growing up and yet still was so damn girly. IDC Still a goood drama. ML was great. Cover makes it seem gritty. It's not really.

Yummy Yummy Yummy-... I'm in the firm belief that if he would have known how huge and wonderful Blossom turned out to be, he wouldn't have accepted this script.

Sweet Teeth rewatch-always worth the rewatch

Love of Pavilillion-Wasted my time. I love the lead actors. I'm not into to tragedy.

Will Love Spring-He's the same character he was in Meet Yourself. Everything. he did was JUSTIFIED. I liked her at first... but she went downhill fast. Mixed feelings about this drama. I did cry.

Love in the Clouds-One of the last dramas of the year went out with a BANG. Ate this up. The kisses were nice, they were mature, and he was FINE. Fantasy with a happy end>>>>>>

Sniper Butterfly-a noona romance and he was never letting go. I enjoyed. She looks YOUTHFUL. (the age gap is not as big as the real life one)

I actually watched WAY less cdramas this year much to my disappointment. But cheers to next year and more!

Nico ends up impulsively eating the entire box at midnight, and then proceeds to try and pretend he knows nothing about it when Will asks questions.

Lizzy Hail - Pain Au Chocolat

Lizzy doesn't have a huge sweet tooth. A little bit of indulgence now and then, but overall she's not one for sweets. If she was buying something from a bakery she'd lean towards the more savory options like the actual bread, but if it was specificlally for a snack she might pick up a pain au chocolat.

Booker Reed - Bakewell Tart

There's a nice balance to a bakewell tart that Booker really enjoys. The sweet jam, the almost savory edge of the almond base, the bite of the cherry. He likes the layers and textures, and the way they work together.

Andric Roche - Carrot Cake

Cheese cakes are usually found in stores not bakeries (at least here in the UK), otherwise that what would have been Andric's 1st choice, but nothing beats cream cheese frosting as a second option for Andric, and that rarely comes on anything other than a Carrot Cake. It helps that he also enjoys how moist carrot cakes tend to be.

Edward - Cinnamon Bun!

Not just because he's quite close/adjacent to the "Cinnamon Roll" trope, but also because he loves the sweet/savory mix of a well iced cinnamon bun.

Connorbar Moore - Scottish Shortbread

Connor has simple tastes. Flour, Butter, and Sugar, baked to perfection. Nothing beats a crumbly piece of shortbread for this vampire.

Olwen Pryce - Millionaires Shortbread

Olwen doesn't indulge herself often, but if she's walking past a bakery and catches sight of some Millionaires Shortbread, it's almost an impulse to stop and buy one. It may bring back memories of her mother baking in the kitchen. It might be a little bit off bittersweet nostalgia. It might just be the caramel-chocolate combo.
