Twisted Metal Confusion & Excitement!
Well let's start off by clearing up the confusion over the Clown Explosion pic (top). Many people think that the top pictures is related to Twisted Metal, well in fact IT'S NOT!!! I remember when that picture was getting a lot of attention, because people thought that in meant that SONY was finally making/working on the next Twisted Metal for the PS3. They weren't working on it at all, I managed to find an old article I read way back in '08 when I found out the truth about the picture. Here's the article
Clown-Themed Explosion: Not Twisted Metal
What stupid idiot makes an advertisement for a company without knowing the history of it 1st? Well aside from that let's move on. With rumors floating around about Twisted Metal being made ever since that ad controversy, finally in 2009 David Jaffe had confirmed that he was working on the next Twisted Metal for the PS3. A year later at E3 2010 at the very end of Sony's conference they had one last surprise for everyone. It was the Trailer for Twisted Metal (2nd pic). Sweet Tooths Ice Cream Truck then drove up & parked on the stage. Then David Jaffee & another co-founder of Eat, Sleep, Play then jumped out of the back of the truck & talked about the game & did a live demo for the audience.
Then in early 2011 the Twisted Metal Broken Trailer released & then we all pretty much assumed that date at the end of the video was the final release date for Twisted Metal (3rd pic). Well we were wrong, in August of 2011 David Jaffe put up a Video stating that they (his company & him) decided to push the release date of Twisted Metal to Valentines Day of 2012 (last two pics). In late January a demo for Twisted Metal was released & playable till the 8th of Febuary. And Now here I am finishing up this article/post less than 30 hours away about to pick up my copy of Twisted Metal at gamestop's Midnight Release!!!
Oh you know I'm gonna sign up for this!!!
