A letter is delivered to the priest's church, either directly to him or to chimeramom by a very unsettlingly stagnant burgundy. It does not have a return address, only his name on the front. The handwriting is a bit messy both on the front and inside, but is still plenty legible to him. "Dear Temperance, you inspire me to run. Let me compare you to a library. You are methodical, collected and knowing. Ice bites the debris of spring, And wintertime yet feels to be so aloof with the coming days.

How do I see? Let me examine the parish pastor of this home. His darkened all-seeing eyes and gears, Surfeit with only machines fills his days. A darker purple than that of the most well known.

The letter is not signed except for with a heart.

He read through this once, twice, three times. This felt so wrong. Very very wrong. He doesn’t need a name to know who this came from. Only one troll knows his true name, and she hasn’t been seen in some nights.

His brows begin to furrow in a mix of worry and anger. She would never write to him out of the blue, as far as he remembered. The priest immediately scrambles out of his seat and makes haste to his Lusus. Perhaps she can track the scent left on the letter? Who knows. All he know in this moment that this whole situation did not sit right with him one bit.

She wouldn’t leave so abruptly without bothering him, after all.
