Hello ! I was reading your intro post and wanted to know what a symptom holder is, if you don't mind me asking?
Is it in reference to exclusively neurodivergence or symptoms of physical ailment too? Or is it something else entirely? One of our alters is trying to figure himself out and he thinks that this role may apply to him
Both physical and mental! It's a term for an alter that handles one symptom more than others. One of our symptom holders, Eclipse, holds physical and mental fatigue related to our anemia. She handles it most of the time and tries to keep us from burning out.
