Make your own sweetened chai concentrate to use in various recipes, including milkshakes!
Ingredients: 4 cups water. 8 black tea bags. 8 cardamom pods. 8 cloves. 2 cinnamon sticks. 2-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced. 1/2 cup sugar. 1/2 cup honey. 1 tsp vanilla extract.
Instructions: In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add tea bags, cardamom pods, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and ginger. Simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat. Stir in sugar, honey, and vanilla extract until dissolved. Strain the mixture and let it cool. Store the sweetened chai concentrate in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
