I'm still alive somehow 😂
I feel like I should probably explain why I disappeared for like 1+ year, cause whenever I saw the famous tumblr icon I'd think about you guys and hope you were still doing okay out there in the world 🤧
Basically I got way too involved in tumblr fandom/political discourse and I realized it was taking a horrible toll on my mental health. So I quit tumblr cold turkey to stop myself from going down a ragingly negative spiral (it worked, but then Zoom university happened and that was a whole disaster and a half 😂)
And then I just never came back on. Even though I was always thinking about my awesome mutuals, my embarrassment over how I was behaving in those online arguments was literally so strong that I couldn't even open the tumblr app 😭
Even though I'm alive, I probably won't return to the fandom politics sphere (or general 'political discourse') any time soon.
I'm confident in my own viewpoints, and I see no real point in arguing about them online where the opposing parties are so adverse to having an honest and open dialogue of discussion with you, to the point where it's pointless to try and convince them of their logical follies.
You'll only end up exhausting yourself in the meantime, and your energy is far too valuable to spend arguing with strangers who don't want to hear anything but their own yabbering anyways.

I've become a digital artist during the pandemic because I finally bit the bullet and let my artistic brainworms take hold (thank the pandemic and Zoom university for that 😂)
I do have Twitter too (serene_snowbun) but like ... You all know Twitter is just where all the worst tumblrians moved after the Great Purge so.... No, I really don't want to be too active on there 😂
