😘 = Does your muse like to flirt? Do they like to be flirted with?
“Flirting is a dangerous game, but oh so fun at the same time. The reactions you can get out of people are a treat. Being flirted with, however, you best hope you’ve a sharp wit about you, because it will leave you stunned.”
💵 = Is money an important factor to consider when dating? Does your muse prefer rich partners?
“Wealth is all well and good, but I worry most about whether someone isn’t an arse, and can tolerate my more... unorthodox approach to business. That said, I’d like someone that’s at least moderately responsible.”
👒 = Does your muse like to wear hats? If so, what kind?
“I quite like simple hats. Nothing too large or overly elaborate, but still quite good looking. It can bring an outfit together, you know?”
Without a doubt, they were exhausted and worn. It was as if they were in perpetual fatigue, their throats constantly thirsting but their stomachs numb to hunger. Part of them had gotten used to traveling for days on end, all in an attempt to flee the rampage that was wrought upon their village. By a stroke of luck, they had received one-way ferry tickets to cross the seas to La Noscea, to a place called Aleport.
There was hope and excitement brimming their hearts, Sel’s especially as she ran down the docks towards the ferry skipper. Sol cracked a small smile at the sight, but between him and his sister, he was the most exhausted. He had hopes, he had dreams; but he was beginning to expect very little the longer their journey became.
When they boarded the ferry boat, he watched Sel’s excited bouncing. She looked to and from the boat, gawking at the gentle waves and smiling at the scent of the water. It was refreshing, seeing her so chipper again. Even the little pup in her lap was happy to be finding these new experiences. Her laughs and the pup’s gleeful tail wagging brought light into his heart again, the smile on his face growing. Despite not knowing what the future held after they would depart from the boat and despite how little he was beginning to expect of things, he dared think of the words, Things will be alright now. I just know it.
The boat eventually embarked on its route: a straight shot to Aleport. However, the waves proved to be too much for Sol, and partway through the sailing, his stomach churned with his face twisting into something sour. Sel looked over to him, mildly entertained. A smirk curled upon her lips, and she giggled, “Didn’t bring your sea legs, Brother?”
“Please… do not talk to me,” he said behind his gloved hand, absolutely nauseated.
Sel giggled again, “Alright. Suit yourself. Just make sure you turn the other way if you’re going to vomit.”
Suddenly, the ferry skipper called out to them, “He better not make a mess of me ship, lass!”
“Ohhhhh things will be fine, I’m sure of it!” Tapping her brother’s shoulder and the edge of the boat, she added, “Turn yourself around and face the water. At the very least, if you vomit, it won’t be in the boat.”
Grumbling, he turned to slump over the edge, eyes shutting tight as he fought back against his stomach. With a finger on her chin, she hummed to think. “Hmm… if you’re like this in the water, what are you like on an airship?”
“Please stop talking,” he gagged.
She could only chuckle in return. “Oh come now, talking can be a distraction!”
“Ah... a dangerous situation, hm?” The Xaela tapped at her chin, the gentle sound of mechanical motion following with each motion of her right arm. “Well, I reckon there ain’t much more dangerous than that what left me with this here.”
Closing her eyes and drawing a deep breath, almost as though to calm her nerves, Cadette nodded to the Keeper before starting her tale.
“I’d heard tell that my beloved was in danger, threatened by a dreadfully terrifying maniac. Bein’ as I am, I wasn’t about to let that stand, and went in to find her.” Another deep breath, her head shaking with the recollection. “Alas, that ain’t what I found. The sick... I don’t wanna call it a person, it was usin’ that as a trap. For what reason it wanted to draw me in, I still don’t understand, but we fought, and sadly that meant losin’ my arm.”
“Nhaama was kind to me that sun, but damned if it wasn’t the most dangerous situation I’ve found myself in.”

Whew, five things, hey? Here we go~
Music! Cliche as it sounds, I’ve always loved both listening to and making music, and often find myself drumming out beats on my desk or happily humming to myself.
Photography - The photos in themselves can be just wonderful, but half the fun is finding the perfect shot, which is a nice segue into the next one I thought of (quite literally as I’m writing this)
Travel - I love, love, love to travel, and am always dreaming up new places I want to visit, sights to see, friends to meet.
Writing - Yeah, yeah, an RPer likes writing, who would’ve thought? Truth is, I’ve always loved writing in some form or another; it’s an amazing outlet for creative energy, and as an art form can be incredibly powerful.
Food - It’s often said that the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach, and I’m one to prove this. I absolutely love the kind of experiences one can have with food, especially when it’s shared with other people; nothing is quite like dining together!
Cadette often contemplates whether to take on her tribal/birth name (Khadaghan) again, or whether to fall off the grid and return to her tribe, despite having spent most her entire life living in the west. It does cause her some conflict in the sense of questioning where she’d truly lived as she perhaps should.
🍋 - Does your muse complain about things to you? If so, what?
Amon thinks I write him to be way too soft and (secretly) emotional (I’m probably guilty of this). He also hates that I stripped him of all of his magic and I keep him locked out of the Tower. But that’s for his own good. ;)
