Mmm. I guess it’s called EVA Foam in English. ^_^ They sell it at craft shops and it’s quite nice material to work with.
I was pleasantly surprised that they had thicker and thinner sheets of it. :3 The thicker one was clearly better for the mask itself, but the thinner sheets were great for details.
(I also used black tulle, hot glue, black marker & pencil. I still need to attach the rubber bands and finish the toad mask. Hhhhh.)
