Had a fun convo between a friend and i when told how sweet pete is a grandzaddy

Naturally my adhd ass wander off to his downstairs and the convo took a story time.

What if....Sweet Pete actually isn't Peter pan and isnt actually a villain???

the whole movie could be just a movie for their world and all 3 are aware of it? They've shown the bootleg set of sweet pete and people filming. how would they get Peter pan himself to portray himself with facial hair as a flashback scene? that would be impossible to do if he's already grown up and old (aka sweet pete) which also EXPLAINS why Cubby didn't grow up either. So in reality, it could be possible they film the movie, having cameras following them while trying to bring light to Bobby Driscoll and to make fun of Hollywood constantly remaking old movies.
