Confirmation

I am now asking that all participants send a quick message via askbox or private message as to whether you can complete your gifts!  I want to have an answer from everyone three days from now, and it’s alright if you need an extension to complete your gifts! Just let me know at this point.  Also, as a side note, if you’ve complete your gift at this point, please send in the gift via submissions (whether you want it uploaded on your behalf of not, please indicate!)  I look forward to seeing all the gifts!~

Introducing the Sweet Pool Secret Santa for 2016!!

What is a Secret Santa event?

So the basic gist of this whole event, is that you will basically be making a gift as a “Secret Santa” all the while receiving a gift from your own Santa. All you have to do is sign up and you will then be assigned your giftee, whom you’ll be making a gift for! Upon Christmas day, you will then present said gift. Of course you have to stay anonymous until then, as part of the surprise.

When does signup begin/end?

Right now! It would be best to sign up as early as possible so I can sort through applications quickly and efficiently. However, the application period will be ending November 15th (24:00 EST). So please do sign up before then! To help spread the word, please reblog this post!!

Important dates to keep in mind:

Applications close on November 15th (24:00 EST).

Prompts will be given out within a few days of the application deadline (depending on how many applications left to sort through, but hopefully by the 17th).

There will be a confirmation date where I will ask of all participants to message me about whether you will be able to finish your gift. It’s important so as to give enough time for back-up gifters to work on a gift lest you are unable to. I will expect responses by December 10th (24:00 EST). Those who fail to confirm at least two days past this date will be removed from the event automatically.

Finished gifts should be submitted to the blog or posted by December 25th, If you know you aren’t going to be able to meet this deadline, then please let me know (if you simply need a day or two to finish, then I will gladly give you that time).

It would be much appreciated for anyone considering participating to read through the information page of the blog, the ask box will be open, and I will be posting updates to any information if necessary so I advice to follow to keep track! All posts and gifts will be tagged under #SweetPoolSecretSanta2016 (I will be tracking this in order to reblog gifts) Happy creating in the spirit of the holidays !~
