As Geralt is aware of there being other worlds and planes then he does believe there is something on the other side of death. But he rarely thinks about it. Witchers live for centuries and there’s always one more monster to kill, another battle to fight. He’s too focused on surviving to give much thought to what happens when he can’t keep fighting anymore.

✌ fondest role-play memory, between muses?

uhh pretty much any time i’ve been able to let @talcn let loose and just fucking murder everything in her path tbh especially when witnessed by characters who are like HOLY SHIT WTF about it. i really!! love!! invasion plots where it’s like a small group of characters vs hordes of monsters and they have to fight their way out of it. i did a scene with @justdisplaced and @kesheph in such a context where wolfgang got to rescue ginzo from monsters and just like BURST INTO THE ROOM COVERED IN BLOOD DESTROYING EVERYTHING IN THEIR PATH and then gently be like *boops his nose* i murdered all those things bc i love you c:

All in all Ajay respects most of the people he meets, unless they give him a reason to not do so anymore. But one person he respects greatly is probably Yuma. And respecting greatly is more like respecting out of fear. She has done really fucked up and scary stuff with him, it’s not easy to simply say ‘hey that just happened, whatever’. But looking at its more positive site, another person he respects greatly is Sabal. Not because of the way he leads the Golden Path but because he can turn from a friendly and kind person to a real aggressive dick. And because he’s the brother, of course.

Gallantry.

The slope was rocky and uneven, but it didn’t stop Geralt from reaching the top. The witcher paused to catch his breath. He looked over his shoulder to see how far he’d travelled. A distant light glowed from the village at the bottom of the mountain, a tiny blip surrounded by wilderness. Be a tempting target for any monster looking for an easy meal.

Geralt rode across a gravelly path, spotting something in a patch of grass. He climbed off of Roach’s back and picked up a large golden feather. Snf. The scent was strong, leading off into a swathe of birches and oaks. The griffin was close. He entered the woodland, following the stench of blood and body heat.

The road disappeared, becoming little more than a dirty trail churned up by the wagons and carriages that’d passed through over the years. A little further on he heard a high-pitched screech and shouted for Roach to speed up.

In a clearing he spotted the griffin swooping at a lone carriage. Three men on horseback were sluggishly loading crossbows and trying to fend the beast off to no avail. The griffin snapped her talons around one guard, carrying him and his horse into the air and dropping them to their deaths.  

Geralt jumped off Roach and cast Aard, unleashing a burst of wind that knocked the griffin out of the sky and forced it to land away from the carriage. The witcher unsheathed his silver sword and approached.
