i read ur anwser about SS5london and i can just understand u i was at the live too and i noticed a lot of multifandom people a girl had a bap bag wtf :( i was pretty upset and when krisho appeared they're just next to me i was taking pics but i almost punched myself for almost forgot sj srsly. and yes i was really disappointed for the fanprojets which failed and the banners even the fanchant i felt alone singing them ....
I think everyone has their opinion on this multi-fandom thing. I know many people went without knowing anything about Super Junior because what they wanted was Kpop companies to notice that they have fans in Britain and Europe in general, and so their favourite groups may come too.
In my case, I would never go to a concert if I’m not going to enjoy it the fullest, if I don’t know the songs the artist is going to perform, or if I’m not a fan - again, that depends on each person.
The fan projects thing was well organised, but only few people actually knew about them. It’s not that they didn’t care, but that they had no idea, and that made me feel sad, to be honest.Every SS5 has had a succesful fan project at least - mostly the Marry U one, which I think is the most important, since that song holds a really deep meaning for SJ and elf, and seeing how it failed…
But when I was singing the fanchants, I just wanted them to hear me, to hear that there were people there in the concert who were there only because of them. Because we love Super Junior, not because we enjoy their music and we enjoy Kpop, but because we’re their fans, ELF… But I felt I was singing alone, and they couldn’t hear me. Unless every person in the croud sings, they can’t hear us.
I’m still mad at SM for bringing Krisho, and my opinion on that topic won’t change…
