jsyk that post is about people suddenly acting like she was a good person when she wasnt and shitting on people who arent heartbroken by her death, not people being sad for her family as hopefully anyone with an ounce of empathy is.

and I see that side but death is a scary and sad thing. If people are mourning her death, I say it’s not a bad thing that should be reprimanded. The fact that people are showing compassion to this woman + her family, who was a pretty terrible person socially, is an amazing thing. She didn’t murder/rape/beat anybody. She was tacky person who made money off making fun and belittling people. You don’t have to be sad over it, nor should you feel obligated to, but at the end of the day, she’s dead. Ranting and raving over what a terrible person she was and how her death shouldn’t be news does nothing. And making jokes about her death puts you in the same category she was in? Like, taking a unfortunate situation and making a joke about it for you're personal gain…

So, I see both sides. Should people be reprimanded for not feeling bad for her? No. But they also shouldn’t be one of the hundreds tweeting her daughter things like, “finally your mother dead. thank god.” or making jokes about her death at all. But people also should not be reprimanded for feeling sad/mourning a persons death.

But I disagree that people are acting like she was a good person. Paying respects to a human being who died ≠ acting as if they were a great person.
