I'm behind but I'm OK, I think
Between work and this wretched bug Mrs Alt brought back from the UK in August. I have fallen behind in my swim schedule. I wanted to be at 17K yards by now and tapering. I just got through 12,500 yds this morning. Tired but gas left in the tank. Rather than do what I did with Chicago last year and try and catch up and get injured. I'm planning, a couple of 5Ks over the weekend and 15K on Monday then taper. Most folks seem to think with the river current the 10 miles is actually about 8.5. So, I should be OK, hopefully, someone tell me I'm going to be OK, pleeeease!
