The (TWENTY-THREE) year old (HETEREOSEXUAL) identifies (CISFEMALE) and is known around town for being a (MUSICIAN/BARTENDER) !! They’ve been in Dallas for (TWENTY-THREE YEARS). so penelope was raised by a single dad. she was the product of a woman who loved too many and a man who only loved one. her parents met after college and her father thought that was it. they got married, had P, and they were going to be picture perfect, except her mother had other plans. she met a man in the bar, and it turned into an extended affair. the divorce came, and despite everything, her father was almost wiped clean and left with a child to raise. he had enough to keep them in dallas and he worked as a mechanic.
when it came to school, her father pushed her to be the best. he wanted her to be in extracurricular activities, reading, writing, doing everything he could to get her out.
as she got older, her push declined. her father got sick when she was 16 leaving her to go from school to straight home to help him. he was still able to do most things on his own, but penelope was stubborn and didnt want him to be alone. her father didn’t want to burden her and forced her out most weekends with her friends. he knew what it was like to be kept at home to take care of someone. “i’m just doing what you did for me all these years, dad” was all penelope said.
because of all the time she spent at home, she got into art. drawing and painting were some of her favorite mediums. her and her dad’s small home was littered with canvases covered with her art. her father praised her though, everything was hung or kept.
she loved her art, but didn’t know how to want to make it a career
what she also found a love for was music. she was writing songs daily, playing piano and guitar. she had taken a piano class in high school, and she used what she learned for her music making.
at 18 she started recording, she had a love for something she didn’t know she would. her father was doing his best to be proud. he wanted her to go to college for something safe, but he supported her as long as she was happy.
at 19, her father passed. penelope had been prepared, every doctor visit they were told to make plans. it was still hard though. she spent every day with her father, he was the one who raised her, she was the one who took care of him in his last moments.
her dad didn’t have much debt, most of his 401k and health insurance covered everything, and she was left with the house and all.
for the longest, she hadn’t touched any of his money and shut and locked the door to his room. the idea of preserving it is the only thing keeping her from going in there. but after a , she couldn’t continue living there. so she got an apartment w camille!! but after a while of strugglin and was like ‘hey i have a house we can literally live in kinda creepy tho but its fine it isnt haunted i swear”
she obviously still makes music and works at a bar. i’d say she’s doing pretty well for herself and keeping afloat the best she can.
personality wise.
she loves to have fun. she wouldn’t admit it, but she missed out on a bit of it as a teen. she’s trying to make up for it now causing her to be a bit more reckless than she’d like to be.
she loves love. she doesn’t want to be taken advantage of like her dad, but she does want to find love. when it comes to friendship, she cares deeply. she will love a friend like a family member. she will gladly be snuggled up to anyone that will let her.
on the flip side to that tho, she does have a lot of flings and one night stands. she missed out on that when she was 18/20 so she’s kinda playing catch up
she doesn’t anger easy, it comes with the patience of taking care of someone at a young age. even if she did, she couldn’t do anything with it. she’s definitely not the strongest of people.
her music fc is charlotte cardin. i personally love the music she makes and i think it fits penelope a lot! it’s angsty and just sad breakup music?? i labelled her as the taylor swift bc she kinda is just a lot more indie and not famous
appearance.
she’s towers in at a 5′0.
she keeps her hair blonde, she thinks it suits her more than her natural dark hair.
she’s left handed
she has a few tattoos that scatter her body: her father’s name under her collarbone, a small bouquet of flowers on her rib cage, a paintbrush lining the outside of her left wrist, and probably some more i cant think of right now.
she dresses typically really comfortable; sweaters and jeans. she’d love to be that type that wears just a sweater and thigh high boots (ariana grande) but she’s not that brave yet. (although she might get more tips that way)
