Pan Judged Spar [Piccolo & Zomu]

cc-dbz-skw “It’s amusing that you declined to become the next Guardian of the Earth when Kami offered you the job, and now you’re a Supreme Kai,” Piccolo commented as he approached Zomu. “I overheard your talk with Gohan, you want to spar, with Pan being the judge, right?”

"Yeah, it's sorta...what's the fancy word that Gohan's students use...'ironic'? Yeah, ironic!" Zomu nodded fervently as he felt more confident in understanding literary devices. "Yeah, I'm up to spar with you! Is lil' Pan ready?"

"Hmph, to think you would best me in vocabulary like this one day," Piccolo commented with a chuckle. Hopefully, Zomu will not start speaking more formally like a Supreme Kai too.

"Yeah!" Gohan answered as he flew over with Pan. "Pan will be judging, but I want to see this for myself too!"

"Well then follow me, I'll lead you all to an island where we can have our battle without worrying about the surroundings." The Namek then flew ahead, leading them to a deserted island, perfect for them to go all out.

"Alright, do you want to set any rules?" PIccolo asked as he landed, trying to address Zomu by name but wasn't too sure about the preference. "By the way, what do we call you now by name?"

"The other supreme kais get all up in arms when I go to see people or go to new places. I just don't wanna be trapped in one place. Man, what made them so uptight?" Zomu crossed his arms behind his head. "I have a whole universe to explore!"

"Didn't our Supreme Kai visit us before though? You know because of Buu?" Krillin pointed out, though that seemed like a one-off thing with the universe at stake. Zomu's exploring, while seemingly harmless, he could understand why the other Kais were cautious, especially if they were set in their ways.

"That's rough buddy, I guess there are still rules even with higher powers like that huh. But say you ignore them and go continue to do your thing, how are they going to stop you?" he asked curiously. It just sounded like they were just complaining about Zomu at this point, unless they were also warning him about taking action to stop him.

At first the hybrid had merely watched Zomu move around, trying not to think about how his body used to be Zamasu's, and admittedly, assumed Zomu was far more interested in showing off than he was actually fighting. After all, he did seem to be amusing himself as he would move all around his sparring partner as if he didn't have a care in the world.

It would soon to be revealed to be a foolish move in retrospect, for a firm punch to the stomach would serve as a reminder not to make assumptions until after the fight as done. Some wind would be knocked out of him, but he would be far from done; wrapping his hands around the kai's fist before it could be pulled back, the half saiyan would start to spin the two of them around, making a couple of rotations before he'd suddenly release his grip, sending the other flying away.

Mai had her rifle trained on the familiar form of the green colored Kai. The form of one that had caused so much pain, misery, and death. Zamasu. She was reluctant to just shoot, though. Was it fear? Trauma? Or was it that something... just didn't feel right? "Hands were I can see them, Zamasu!" She hissed his name as if it were poison that threatened to invade her very being simple by utterance alone.

“The desert around South City, huh?” He pauses, finger on his chin in thought, before giving a big grin in response. “Yeah! That would be perfect! Let’s go before Chi-Chi catches me slacking off.”

He chuckles a little ‘cause he know his wife won’t really mind at the end of the day, especially when he explains who he met out here. Taking off into the sky and heading toward their new destination, feeling the wind hitting his face and brushing back his hair, Goku looks over at the green Kai who is way more familiar than he should be. Maybe he should have paid more attention to introductions and not been so quick to ask for a spar.

He would have to get better about that...

“Hey quick question. Sorry for forgetting something so important, but, uh, what did you say your name was again?”

Taking in the whole scene in as vivid detail as he could, The misguided shepherd was more than eager to end this tragedy. Whatever a Time Nest was, was wholly an unknown, but now was not a time to question, now was a time for Action. At least, his body demanded it.

Once he attempted to transport to the land beyond Time, a sudden, massive strain was placed on Black’s body, and no transportation was actually performed, though he made efforts to press onwards anyways.

Powering into the Second Super Saiyan state, The god kept trying to force himself to wherever or whenever in the multiverse this Time Nest was, to no current effect. It was like he was somehow forbidden, by a barrier of some sort, but the struggle was not going to end there; Goku was going to keep on pushing, and pushing, until his body gives out. The time ring began to glow a hot white as it too was stressed to it’s limits.
